Moving to New Blog

As I will be commencing the newest chapter of my life in just 8 days (parenthood!), I thought it appropriate that I also begin a new chapter of blogging.

Following in the footsteps of An Offering of Love and Cindyhoo2 at Bang Head Here - Annex, I have decided to move to a new Wordpress webpage. I've begun the set up, but am just learning how Wordpress functions...and it's taking me a while.

You can find my alter-ego here:

BWUB +1 at

It's sort of up and running now, and all of my current BWUB posts/comments have been imported.

Wordpress allows for password protected posts, which I've decided I want to do with some of my least for a while...after the baby is born.

There may be some personal information/pictures/stories I won't feel comfortable sharing with the entire world, only with those people I've come to trust and with whom I've developed (or will develop) a mutual blogging/commenting relationship. I would just ask that you keep confidential (from the blog world) anything I post in a protected post.

If you'd like the password and future blog site info, email me at or leave a comment here with your email address, and if I am comfortable sending you the info, I'll do so.

Of course most of my posts will be public, and I'll hang out here at my blogger site for a while to make sure I don't lose anyone, but I wanted to give everyone a heads-up.

Love you all and hope to see you over at Wordpress!

I finally think I have managed my Google account so that I can finally post real comments. Let's see how I do.
I would love to continue to follow your journey and can't wait for news of your delivery.

What a perfect time for a transition!!! And now that you can do protected posts, we will get to see lots and lots of baby pics. Yay. I always love a protected post from An Offering of Love because I know that cutie pics are attached. Oh wow, 8 days.... I cannot even imagine where the time has gone.

Oh yeah and can I have the password? :)

I'd love to continue following your journey when you transition to motherhood.

If you decide to share the password now or in the future, you can email me at

If you have been moving stuff over to wordpress, I have my doubts that you have gottten all the necessary napping squeezed in. I am sending you some sleepy vibes as I just succeeded in a nearly 2 hour nap today during the Bug's naptime. Get sleep and happy new (blog) home!

I haven't been following since the beginning, but have religiously in the last 5 months. I really hope to continue following you on this journey, as donor eggs and/or embryo adoption might be in my future.

I can't wait to read how you get on once your little on is here, although I am sure that in the first few weeks time will be at a premium!

I really do hope your c-section goes well and that recovery will be swift, remember to not do too much afterwards - it's easy to forget how major a surgery it is. I still get pain if I do too much (nearly 8 weeks on!)

I'd love to continue following you - you have my email...

Wow, it's really getting close, huh? So exciting. And yeah, forget getting much meaningful rest, I found myself doing so much in the week before delivering. But at least then you can go to the hospital with a piece of mind knowing that things are all set (or mostly set) at home.

And you are not alone with the Men comment from the last post. Even though my DH is great about doing things around the house and for the baby, I had some of the same. When I was home the week before delivering, all I could do was think of things that needed to be done, and then expect him to be as anxious to do it as me. Not quite the case! I think there's a sense of urgency in a pg woman that's not shared by anyone else!!

Glad to see that your mom is receptive to you asking her not to stress you out, let's hope that continues!

Yep, I've been thinking about starting a new blog, too. I haven't decided if I want someplace to post where people I actually know can read, or if I just want to be able to put up photos...

It's hard to be anonymous and completely real, eh?

Dear BWUB,
Please send me your password for the new blog.

Can't wait to see a baby on your blog instead of an egg! ( no offense meant!)
All my buds are going over to wordpress - hmmm, now there's a thought!
